Lion's Paw (Leonotis) shrub-plant is a fast-growing ornamental popular in the home garden. It can quickly reach heights of 3 to 6 FEET! The reddish-orange blooms are very attractive to our human eyes, but bees, butterflies and hummingbirds especially love them! The Lion's Paw is easy to take care of - water seeds and seedlings lightly, don't soak. The plant is fairly drought-tolerant but occasional watering in hot, dry weather will keep the Lion's Paw happy. Prune after flowering and as needed to encourage more blooms. Works well as a border and in a butterfly garden!
